For this project, I had to recreate a classic gown utilizing draping methods. I chose this Valentino dress from SS 2014. Valentino is a house of fashion that is known for their innovative unique gown designs. It was originally all hand embroidered, so to recreate the look, I made a custom print, added a little flare and got it digitally printed. The print had to be meticulously calculated, and puzzled together to match the measurements of a standard size 6 and achieve the unique surface design effect of the Valentino dress.
